The Ronny Tipps Scholarship
This opportunity is a needs-based scholarship for an interpreter or translator who is starting up in this profession. It will award a one-year membership and free registration for the 2024 TAPIT Conference, which will take place on Nov. 9-10 in Nashville (with an option for virtual attendance). This scholarship is in memory of Mr. Ronny Tipps. When he married co-founder Marvyn Bacigalupo-Tipps, Ronny also adopted the entire TAPIT family! This scholarship remembers his tireless work, kindness, enthusiasm, and contributions to TAPIT.

This is a new scholarship opportunity for a student or recent graduate who is interested in the interpreting / translating profession. It will award a one-year membership and free registration for the 2024 TAPIT Conference, which will take place on Nov. 9-10 in Nashville (with an option for virtual attendance). This scholarship remembers Dr. Ardis Nelson's contributions to this profession and her passion for teaching new generations.
