Throughout the year TAPIT conducts virtual (Meet-and-Greets) and in-person workshops and seminars in different regions of Tennessee for medical interpreters, court interpreters, and translators.

Annual Conference

The 2-day TAPIT Conference is held in the Fall. TAPIT brings prominent speakers and presenters from all over the country and abroad who share their fascinating, useful, and interesting information with us. The Conference consists of a wide range of presentations related to interpreting and translation and an evening social event. The Annual TAPIT Business Meeting and election of officers usually take place during the Conference.

Social Events

Besides virtual Meet-and-Greets, interpreters and translators also enjoy informal gatherings where they get together with others sharing the same interest in languages, as well as other hobbies such as hiking, or food.
